Urgent Action Notice
February 22, 2013
Life's WORC and other provider agencies have been advised of a planned 6% reimbursement cut to all OPWDD services. This funding cut is the result of recent negotiations between New York State and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) involving past payments to NY State.

We URGE you to contact your local Legislators to tell them that such an extraordinary loss of funding under such an abbreviated time frame is untenable and unfair to the thousands of individuals being supported by voluntary agencies in New York State.
