Internal Training Information
The Lifes WORC training department is primarily responsible for all education and regulatory training programs conducted throughout the organization. Our knowledgeable instructors ensure that each training session provides staff the tools and skills needed to promote independence throughout our homes and programs. Using the agency values as a guide, all regulatory and agency mandated curriculums stress the importance of the individual as well as the strength of the human spirit. The department also oversees all state and federal required courses such as medication certification, crisis prevention and CPR. The values that guide our mandatory classes also provide a framework for all career development and professional courses as well.

External Training Information
Lifes WORC educational programs provide a multitude of course options in the field of developmental disabilities including topics on the autism spectrum. These courses are available to family members/guardians and service providers who provide supports to individuals and their families. Our skilled facilitators design programs which seek to promote individual growth and development while ensuring for quality outcomes.
The curriculum offered include topics which focus on both individualized supports of persons with specialized needs while promoting a person-centered approach. We also offer a full series of leadership courses which model the importance of organizational values and working as a team. These courses all have one common theme which is to ensure the individuals we all support have the opportunity to live a life with dignity and grow with pride.
