Donate-Make A Difference
Family Education and Training Services are offered to families of individuals younger than 18 years of age who are enrolled in a Waiver Program. The primary focus of this program is to disseminate information to families so that they are educated about the service alternatives for their child. Families are afforded a 2-hour training session every six months.

There is a wide range of topics addressed in the sessions which include:
■ Issues of Siblings
■ Improving Social Skills
■ Guardianship
■ Future Planning
■ Navigating the Education System
This program service is available in Queens and on Long Island.
