ISS (individualized Supports Services) is another residential opportunity provided to individuals with a developmental disability. This grant offers individuals who need minimal supports the opportunity to live more independent lives in their community. The ISS Grant offers individuals a monthly subsidy based on personal living expenses and is used to supplement their income which provides an opportunity to live in their own apartment in the community. Additional services and supports may include in-home residential services and assistance with budgeting, cooking and other activities of daily life.
