Parents are faced with many challenges when raising a child. Having a child on the Spectrum can create enormous stress on a family-stress that is magnified when effective services are not accessible.  Parent Education and Training are critical components of Life’s WORC’s intervention and home-based services, which are individually designed to meet the needs of each member of the family. Parent participation and involvement is an integral part of each child’s program.   Our Parent Training Program supports the needs of parents/caregivers as they continue their child's school-based learning process in the home environment. Families are taught strategies that enable them to contribute to their child’s learning at home and in their community. In addition, the parent trainer can address any on-going behavioral concerns.

Donate-Make A Difference
Facilitate increased collaboration and partnership among teachers and parents of students who participate in school and community-based programs.
Provide parent's with knowledge on the principles of behavior analysis and how it can be applied effectively in their child’s home and community.
Establish a coordinated system of training and technical assistance that will equip parents with the tools that will allow them to have meaningful involvement in their child’s education so they can generalize the behaviors across the child's various environments.
