Supporting a rich, full life for everyone.
Life’s WORC offers community support services to people with developmental disabilities who are living on their own—or with loved ones—and require assistance with independent living skills. Using our Person-Centered philosophy, we help each person live a life rich with possibilities and meaningful interaction, consistent with their abilities and needs—and those of their families.
Working together with the person with disabilities, their families, or others in their circle of support, we identify those areas where the person may choose to enhance their levels of independence, such as:
- Personal hygiene or grooming
- Money management
- Safe use of public transportation
- Food preparation
- Social skills
Once these areas are identified, a Person-Centered plan is created. Every six months, we revisit that plan to gauge how far we have come and where we need to go.
